pictured: tomba saying some silly retarded stuff and rijnie with her multi functional gold chain in her hair. i get to see them not at all too often so it was really nice to catch up (and grace the teder with our mumblings, sideswept bangs and amazing shoes). tom makes piggish music and rijnie just got with img paris (!!) and i love those guys. and when i finally arrived back home at 3am, crawling to my doorstep with my 5″ high heels on, i made veggie burgers for my boyfriend to take to work for lunch. productive!

sometimes it just happens. this inevitable restlessness creeps up on me slowly until i’m completely bananas. then i try to cure it out with compulsive shopping, compulsive ice cream gulping, or compulsive procrastinating. but that stupid feeling of stress and restlessness is still there, and i have to patiently wait until it’s gone. guess i’m not too patient either.

this is how most of my mornings look like. mostly with other shoes than my adidas js wings, but this snapshot i took a few days ago seems too cute to pass on unpublished. oh and please excuse the quality of my iphone pics – as i’ve already admitted in a comic i made a while back, i have no proper camera to drag along with me on a daily basis, so i just use an iphone 4 as a lame substitute instead. bear with me!

things i got in the mail today: calvin klein lipgloss in “dazzle”, m.a.c eye crayon khol in “smolder”, tom ford’s black orchid perfume in a pretty 50ml black bottle. although the ck gloss is a bit disappointing (a little too sparkly for me), the rest of today’s treasure was fantastic: the m.a.c eye khol is brilliant – clean precise and smooth-gliding lines, good enough to draw winged eyeliner with + tom ford’s black orchid will undoubtedly add itself to my daily perfume routine. it starts off a little bitter but leaves off a sweet, spicy orchid-vanilla-wood scent unlike any other, blends nicely with my skin and isn’t too heavy for daily use. kaboom baby.

on the way out for a photoshoot i’m styling. going to be exciting, i’m absolutely sure about it. it’s been a while since i’ve styled anything, as i’m too busy doing other projects – but it’s nice to be back on track. i don’t want to spill out any secrets about the shoot though – you’ll see when we’re done – so meanwhile let me introduce my friend shay, who is one of the most talented girls to stroll tel aviv wearing an (100% self made) animal-head hoodie + skirt + black leg straps. she has just opened a blog – check it here!
(thnx goni riskin for the pics. miss-shaping)
